What is The Official Museum Directory (OMD)?
The Official Museum Directory (OMD) is an annual publication with a new edition released in the Spring every year.

• Quickly locate vendors and professionals with the Products & Services Guide, a separate section organized by service type and indexed alphabetically by name.

• Review listings arranged alphabetically by city and state to find addresses, phones, faxes and more for potential customers.

What is the OMD Online Web Subscription?
OMD Online is a robust search engine of our museum data which is accessible online 24/7 using single-simultaneous user login credentials.
Multi-user and IP-based access is also available via special request. IP-based access is compatible through your EZproxy software. For additional information, please use our Contact Us page.
With a one-year online subscription, find an institution by name, collection or location using the Advanced Search option.
You can also find groups of institutions that share similar characteristics using the Advanced Search option.
What is a Standing Order?
A standing order is a way to request recurring shipments. Customers on Standing Order have the new edition automatically fulfilled and are then invoiced or automatically charged with our auto-bill option. Some customers favor this option as a way to receive the discounted price and to ensure they never miss an edition.

How can I order and how much does it cost?
Simply visit our homepage and click the 'SHOP' button to view ordering options. Choose the Print Version or Online Version to view pricing and place your order.
When will the new OMD edition be available?
The newest edition of The Official Museum Directory is published and available for immediate shipment in the Spring each year.
Book: If you prefer the book, it will ship on the scheduled publication date. If you order the book after the publication date, it will ship within five (5) business days.
OMD Online: This subscription-based version is available 24/7 and refreshed daily from the OMD editorial system so the online version captures the latest updates. Access is available for one-year from the order date. The order confirmation with login instructions and credentials will be sent to the user’s email within 1-2 business days. If you previously had a subscription, the order confirmation will instruct you to use the same login credentials with your renewed access.
What is your return/refund policy?
--All claims must be submitted within 30 days of Invoice Date
--Claims must be submitted in writing through our Contact Us page.
--Claims must include your Customer ID / Account Number.
--Standing Orders CANNOT be cancelled AFTER books have shipped.
Standing Orders: Lower price is guaranteed for as long as you remain on automatic yearly renewal. You are free to cancel standing order status at any time. However, we cannot accept cancellations AFTER you have received the current year’s edition. Absent extenuating circumstances, such cancellations will be applied to next year’s edition, and the customer is expected to pay for the edition just received.
How can I purchase copies of past editions?
We have a limited inventory of older editions within the past ten years. Editions published more than ten years ago are not available. To confirm availability and price of an older edition published within the past 10 years, please use our Contact Us page and indicate the specific edition you're interested in.
How do I pay my invoice?
To pay by credit card, please request an online payment link via our Contact Us page.
To pay by check, mail the invoice with your check to: NRP Direct | 1690 S. Lumpkin St.| Athens, GA 30606. Please be sure to write your invoice number on the check.
